At Chef's Table Liverpool, we aren’t just about food; we’re all about sharing joy through delicious dining experiences! Whether it’s a cozy meal at home or a gathering with friends, our passion shines through every plate we prepare.

CTL is the passion project of Chef Petrus Madutlela who rose to prominence as a judge on South Africa’s Braai Master TV show, also reaching the quarter-finals on MasterChef: The Professionals in the UK.

He spent several years as Head Chef of Michelin-recommended fine dining establishment The Poet at Matfield before leaving for Formby in 2023 with his wife and children. Here he worked at Michelin-Starred The Barn at Moorhall before heading the kitchen at Emily’s in Formby.

CTL blends modern European dining with occasional hints of South African flavours. We take pride in the provenance and terroir of the Formby and Liverpool area, sourcing local and seasonal produce to craft unique flavours that linger long after the last bite.
